Pet boarding in Naples/Fort Myers? (Cape Coral: vacation, hospital, house)

Hello!
I am a Naples resident and we are looking to board our dog, as much as I hate to, in June. We used to board at our vet but have changed vets since we were not happy with the care and the price.

Does anyone have any boarding facilities that they can recommend? I am willing to drive if I have to, in order to find the best place. I would love a place where my dog can run around and play part of the day, he is 95 pounds and needs exercise.

While I don't know these people personally, there are a lot of people that pet sit in the area that advertise on craigslist. This would allow your pet to be in a home enviornment rather than a kennel.

Before moving ....I used Woof Cottage in South Fort Myers on many occasions and have always had a peace of mind when leaving my dogs there. I often left them with Bill for 3 weeks at a time for various vacations plus he was also recommended by my Vet.

If your dog gets along well with others, I recommend K9s Come 1st in downtown Fort Myers. There's also a new place called Camp Bow Wow in Fort Myers that the K9s Come 1st people also recommend.

If K9's Come 1st is the warehouse in downtown Ft. Myers off of 4th & Evans, don't even think about it. I stopped in one day and the dogs were being screamed at by the 1 dogsitter there (for 20+ dogs). They were all sitting in the sun on the concrete whimpering...terrible.

Hi I own a grooming salon in fort myers and I board at our private home off colonial to well behaved spoiled dogs. I have been in business over 25 years and well known. We live on 5 acres with a escape proof fenced yard, all dog live in our home 24/7, no kennel or cages unless you prefer you pet crated at night. We try to board dogs only under 25 pounds as our little one are under 5 lbs, teacup poodles and papillons.
