Default New Lis Pendens

I was looking at a short sale the other weekend and noticed that the listing dropped off the MLS. Now upon seeing the Lee county property appraisal web site it has gone into Lis Pendens status. How can I bid on this now as I was going to put an offer in this week when it was still a short sale?
