I’ve driven the reverse commute along Immokalee road a few times... from I-75 in Naples to downtown Immokalee in the morning and heading back to I-75 in the afternoon. It’s a long drive, just under an hour. More than half the trip is on a newly widened six (?) lane highway, but the remainder is on an old two lane road with a reputation for bad wrecks. I wouldn’t want to drive it at night.
Immokalee is considered to be a rural community of agriculture and construction workers with a large (71.0%) Hispanic population.
