Default also moving...

I am also moving soon to the area. At least, when I get a job there I will be. This could be very soon, or it could be a while. I have family in the northern Naples area and while I want to be close to them, I want to live somewhere on my own. I hope for a job with FGCU, where would be good to live?

Default The jobs are few..

My daughter is down there and there aren't any good jobs around. You will be lucky to find a decent paying one at that.

I'm 25 and have a great job. There are jobs down here and plenty that will allow you to live on your own. If I can be a teacher and own a condo (which I'm trying to sell if any of you are interested), then you will be fine.

If you're looking for a job at FGCU, why not check out Stoneybrook?

As for finding a job down here, what fields are you looking in? What are your qualifications?

About a year ago, Lee county Sheriff's dept was hiring administrative for their new crime lab thingy, (cant recall it's official name) Not sure if they are still recruiting or not, might start by contacting them. In general, with the mass of foreclosures, declining property values, and poor performing economy, the tax base is shrinking. Most county and city municipal positions are in a hiring freeze, and some, including police and fire are laying off, from what I've heard.......
