Default Is Fort Myers Really That Bad To Live?

I am currently a college student in the Bradenton area and i am planning to move to South Fort Myers near Daniels Parkway after i receive my bach in Meteorology. Is it honestly as bad as what people are saying?

The area you are moving to is actually probably the nicest part.

As much as I didn't care for FM, I always thought that area around Daniels was pretty nice.

121804 is right, that is one of the FEW good areas. Nothing north of that area, is good... Believe me. Another good area is most everything along McGregor Blvd.

That's a fairly nice area, with access to plenty of shopping, transportation, etc.

The bad part is job availability - aside from the economy taking a dive..it's hard to find quality, long term placement in specialized fields.
