Default Better to rent in Ft Myers/ C.C. than to buy??

Today in MSN.COM article listed best cities to buy (66) as opposed to renting housing. 2 places mentioned in Fl to rent were Miami/Ft lauderdale area and Ft Myers/C.C area. I can see the Miami area making the list but why FM/CC? I would think these area had the same standing as Tampa/Orlando/Sarasota. I would guess lack of jobs or inventory amounts? I have to confess it put the brakes on my plans to buy for now.

Combined with it being a retiree destination.

Little to no job growth (remember, this area was superinflated with jobs due to construction) & thousands of homes for sale. You got it.
