That is because you guys are looking for "eye candy". Of course, you won't get that up North in the middle of winter!

If you want that in the summer, there is always the Hamptons. You can rub elbows with the rich and famous there, literally, because it is much smaller. A lot of celebs have summer mansions there. Of course, you will need to have mucho dinero to go anywhere there. Maybe they winter in Miami Beach, but they go to the Hamptons in the summer.

Anyway, why don't people go to MB on New Year's? Why freeze in Times Square watching the ball drop when you can be nice and warm on the beach? Hmmmm.

Thanks everyone. So if i wanted to do something at night i guess i would have to go across the whole state.!!that sucks. well thanks. has anyone been to chicago and cape coral, or just W. side of Florida,if so what one do you like??thanks
