Question Tree climbing in Fort Myers/Cape Coral

Hi people. I happen to know someone moving to the Fort Myers area who loves to climb trees and will often even climb trees in parks and playgrounds. I would like to know, is tree climbing permitted in Fort Myers or Cape Coral parks?

The ultimate tree climbing experience is at the Edison Home. You will have to be sneaky because they don't condone it!

Unfortunately, tgbvc, tree climbing is prohibited in all Lee County parks. If you read the online code of ordinances for Lee County Parks and Recreation, it will say; "No person may climb any tree or sit upon any monument or any property not designed for that purpose." That means you can not climb trees in any of Fort Myers or Cape Coral parks. That includes but is not limited to Centennial Park and City of Palms park. However, you just might; I am not guaranteeing it, but you just might be able to climb trees in Naples/Collier County parks.
