Really appreciate the input. As i said were coming down in a few weeks & I am tempted to knock on some of the prospective neighbors doors. If they dont like it, they can say so : ).

Hope your visit to Naples was a good one. I don't LOVE this town. Have been here for 8 years (some snowbird, some full-time) and am seriously thinking of moving, mostly due to medical reasons. Rather than repeat all the bad things about living here full-time I would like to say a couple of good things........It's probably the most beautiful town in all of Florida and I don't just mean downtown. I mean the entire Naples area--well planted medians, beautiful palms everywhere, little litter, gorgeous community entrances along the roads, visually nice shopping centers, etc. Just go on a day trip anywhere else in the state and when you come back here you'll see what I mean. Naples is a feast for the eyes. Also, they are doing their best to keep up the roads along with the population growth. This current housing slump is giving them even more time to catch up and I think Naples roadways are pretty darn good and very easy to navigate. Signage is easy to see and read, traffic lights are new and placed where needed, turn bays are plentiful, roads have curbs, arrows are well painted, etc.

So, let's say some of the good things about Naples!!!

I can say we have driven early am, rush hour times, and regular day & night & havent seen any traffic issues. There seems to be alot of ins & outs. I see also that like you said it seems very well kept up. Very easy on the eyes. My husband already is establishing some work contacts since he works for himself. We had the inspection this am and that went well also. Some things we have to take care but minor. So we'll go from here & see where it brings us, : O)
