Also it seems that the cost of living is a little more reasonable in some of those areas? My husband would be transferring down as a Walmart manager...any imput on the "good ones" around there? I am a massage therapist.....do you think I will have trouble finding work? I am hoping this area will be good for us! Any advise or input would be appreciated!
The beaches are nice when the red tide is away, it seems that it keeps getting worse. Caused by run-off into the water.(crops, fertilizer, and another problem can be related to other waste) pfiesteria kills fish, can harm humans.
There is a glutton of massage therapists in the area because of the schools, you could get lucky and find a busy one though. You must be licensed by the state of Florida.
Wal mart is the same everywhere here...the customer service is bad, you wait in long lines to check out
On a positive note, there is plenty of restaurants & shopping! Bonita area is growing, think it is younger there.

What do you mean by "common?" My suggestion is to go to bankingmyway.com and select Florida and then look at the listings. Use 33908 as a zip code. It doesn't matter, but that's Fort Myers.

We have most of the large banking institutions like Wachovia, Bank of America, Citi, Chase, etc. We also have Amtrust, SunTrust, Colonial Bank, Bank United, Orion, Bank of Florida and many others.
There are banks on every corner. We also have a few credit unions.
