I used to vacation there a lot about 10+ years ago and there was a mexican restaurant that we always went to. It had HUGE wooden doors leading to a courtyard (I think) and then you had to step up into the restaurant. There was also a large green iguana painted on the front of the building...we always called it the Green Iguana (I don't think that's the name of it)

Can anyone help me?? Even w/my VERY vague description...

I think you may be thinking of Iguana Mia's. They had a few locations I'm not sure which one you are talking about I don't eat to much mexician food. I think there maybe one in front of the Edison Mall I don't know if there is still one downtown which is the one you maybe thinking of.
