Default Metrosexual in Punta Gorda (PG): where to shop, dine and have fun

Hi there All

OK, I've bought a condo in PG, but I'm young, love shopping, restaurants, large apartment stores, malls, name brand clothing shops, lots of people and love the city vibe.

Please don't tell me I bought in the wrong place. I'm well informed on where I bought and visited PG recently.

I will only be visiting there four or five times a year and then stay for about four to five days at a time as a 'time out' period from my work.

Please be so kind to list some good places in a radius of about an hour's drive where I can experience some good city life with names of good malls etc.

Thanks.

Head north to Sarasota. You'll find everything you need for entertainment in Sarasota.

Around Clark and 41 is an area known as Gulf Gate. Here you'll find about 3 square blocks of bars and restaurants and shops. It's a quick hop from here to Siesta Key.

Just a bit further north on Ringling Drive there is Saint Armands Cir. where you'll find over 100 stores and restaurants. Here you can shop, eat , drink, and hang out on the beach.
