What's your favorite restaurant in Ft Myers
My husband and I will be vacationing in Ft Myers next week and are interested in getting some ideas about restaurants from the people who live there. Casual, not too expensive, not a chain restaurant. Not only in Ft Myers, but the surrounding communities as well. So... what's your favorite restaurant??

Well if you're coming to Naples at all for breakfast you HAVE TO eat at The Sunrise Cafe for breakfast, I recommend the Belgium Waffle with the strawberries.. ITS AMAZING... Actually they called it Skillets now but nothing changed but the name.. Its on the corner of Pine Ridge Rd and Airport Pulling Rd where the McDonalds is.. You won't be sorry!!....
While in Fla Mexican is a must Iguana Mias isn't terrible but Flaco's is top notch.. Once again in Naples but worth the trip to get REAL mexican food

Head into Cape Coral onto Cape Coral Parkway. Down a couple miles on the left is Papa Joe's Italian. No one comes as close as they do to real New York Style Pizza, and everything on their menu is top notch.

Thanks to everyone for their input so far! I've checked out some of the websites to the restaurants that were named and I like what I'm seeing! Anybody else have any recommendations? Thanks again!

For great food for a lunch but not something too fancy.... Big Al's in Bonita Springs is excellent.

Try the "Cuban Restaurant" in Cape Coral...
So clean you can eat off the floors. Nice people, great churrascos (skirt steaks), masita de puerco (deep fried chunks of pork), black beans with rice, croquetas (cheese or ham) and sangria. Too cheap for what you get. I am an expert and can"t get enough of the place.
