There aren't going to be any websites. You cannot get a 1/4 acre of land for $250,000 in Sanibel. Check the MLS. Sanibel is not for the wealthy, it is for the ultra wealthy.

I'd like to reiterate what the previous poster stated. There's nothing cheap about Sanibel. Even if you did actually move there, good luck spending your life in traffic, during the winter. It can take literally hours to get on and off that island when the snowbirds are here.

Yeah, but I think worrying about traffic is the least of their worries. If they are looking for a 3-bedroom house for $250,000 it isn't ever going to happen. The cheapest place to actually live that I could find was a 1/1 556 sq. ft. condo for $300,000.
If you have to ask the price, you just can't afford it.

I'm thinking about all you would get on Sanibel Island for $250.000 is a nice storage shed...lol..

Not anymore, It has been many many years since anything on Sanibel was that inexpensive. WE were over there for the day not so long ago and had the same thought, we picked up some of the flyers they leave on boxes at corners. The next corner had a trash can we put them all in. Funny thing the trash can was absolutly full of the same flyers.
Nice thought though. I'll take OHHH, ten!
Maybe that is what we need here, it would start another real estate boom on the island. LOL

The last time I checked into 2/2 condos in Sanibel (older building and not refurbished) it was nearly $1m.
There is nothing on Sanibel for $250k.
