bkichula ~ spouse & I kayak from Bunche Beach which is at the end of John Morris. There is no charge for parking. Also, the Sanibel causeway is excellent for kayaking. There is a $6 toll for the causeway but no parking fee there.

I am not sure of Cape Coral kayaking launch sites.

there is a kayak launch off ceitus in cape coral which is near matlacha, you can access the caloosa blueway which is pretty much specifically for kayaks to go through all the mangroves parking is free.
