Default Captiva/Sanibel Young People

Going to Captiva next week with family...in my late 20s..was wondering if there would be much "scene" for someone of my age. Any suggestions, etc.? I am guessing the majority will be an older crowd, but figured I'd see if anyone has been and can fill me in!

The "scene" on those islands is somewhat limited to laying on the beach, picking up seashells, and dining in expensive bistros. Unless you're really into bird watching, or something like that. Very beautiful, and ecology/nature oriented islands, but not much attraction for the younger night life.
I'd suggest you head off island, and take a short trip over to Ft Myers Beach. Hotels, Bars, Restaraunts, Bars, souvenir shops, Bars,.........Did I mention there were bars?...

If you care to get more specific, someone here may be able to point you in the right direction. Hope you enjoy the stay.
