Default How About North Fort Myers?

City data shows much lower crime stats for North Fort Myers, then Ft Myers. Is all of North Ft Myers pretty safe or are there parts of it that has a lot of crime? How is Palmona Park? Thanks in advance for your comments and insight.

There are definitely better choices than the areas you are mentioning. Some parts of North Ft Myers have a lot of crime actually. It's pretty removed from Ft Myers, and you have to take a bridge from some parts to really get into FM.
Truthfully, if you are looking for a great deal on a home then go to Cape Coral (SE parts.) You can get something for nothing, and the crime is not extremely high. I still say the further south you go the better.

Also, if it doesn't HAVE to be FM, look at North Port. Very low crime (aside from the small rise in property crime due to vacant homes), and there are 2600 listings of homes for under 100K. I can refer an excellent realtor to you. It's about 40 minutes north of Ft Myers, and very close to Venice Beach, Englewood Beach, Sarasota, Cape Haze, and Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte.
Good luck.
