Question Need advice on cape area (diplomat pkwy)

Hey everyone, I plan on moving out in cape somewhere and recently looked at a house on diplomat pkwy right off del prado n and above pine island. Area looked real nice and close to restaurants. Any opinions about the area??

Well, I dont live up that way, so it's hard to give a first hand impression. I know as far as the raods are concerned, you've got good access to Ft Myers, and points north to Punta Gorda, etc.
The road access to Fort Myers, and North Ft Myers can be a double edged sword, according to many previous posts I've read on this forum. Crime rates maybe higher in the NW Cape because of this. But as mentioned, I dont live up that way, so cant say for certain.
FWIW, the area looks as nice as any other in the Cape to me......
Hopefully some others will chime in on this.

It's not a bad area. I don't live over there but I have a few friends that do. It isn't as developed as SW and SE but there is shopping over that way now.
