I don't understand, if all the "thugs, homies, addicts and punks with tatoo's on their neck" go elsewhere to commit crimes, then wouldn't Lehigh Acres crime rate by.... lower, and the others be... higher?

Those addresses are "last known" not currently lived in. What does 80% mean? 80% from the previous year? 80% of people being robbed and ripped off? That happens when our slow as dirt 'first responders' take 15 minutes to show up for a prowler call. Two crimes happening at once

What newspaper are you reading? I look at Lee County news quite often, and Lehigh Acres crime is very high. You seem to be mixed up on crime rates... you think that Cape Coral's crime is high and Lehigh is alright, but frankly it's the other way around.

The news from the town I live in... Remember you don't live here, you don't see the goings on...

this didn't happen in lehigh
Jurors hear graphic details in Cape Coral teens death | WINK News - News, Sports and Weather - Southwest Florida | Local & Florida

neither did this
Murder in Cape Coral: "I guess he just freaked-out this night." | WINK News - News, Sports and Weather - Southwest Florida | Local & Florida

or this
Teen accused in murder has prior arrest record - cape-coral-daily-breeze.com | News, sports, community info. - Cape Coral Daily Breeze

or this
Cash Feenz ringleader in for fight for life, or death penalty » Naples Daily News

but you are portraying a place that you don't live in or in a close vicinity to, as a wonderland that it isn't

everywhere has crime, and simply because cape coral is on a seperate coast from miami, doesn't make it safe

All of the above crimes are horrific, but each victim was known by the assailant.

The first's body was found in Lehigh.

These are bad people living amongst the populace, but there isn't a lot of random violence like you see elsewhere.

Thank you... some people just don't want to see anything good. I don't see any reason to continue this thread.

HAHAHA, reading it for what you want. That seems to be the typical response around here lately. All I said was that people need to be aware that Cape is NOT a wonderland that is crime free, and posted a few links to prove my point. It's the truth, there IS crime everywhere, Cape Coral has it's fair share.
