Loud music from vehicles.
Does anyone else have a problem with loud music coming from cars with the windows all the way down and the bass/music all the way up. I dont understand how these people can have any hearing left and can they hear emergency vehicles approaching. I also wonder if they know what they are doing to their hearing. I guess they will be deaf by the time they reach 28 years old and will want the pitty party when they cant hear and blame it on something or someone else.
I too like music and dont play it soo loud that I need the attention of others or a hearing aid. And I do like all kinds of music, but I dont subject others to my music because they may not like it.
Why do we have to indure the music when it is so loud and all you can hear is the bass? Maybe thats what these young drivers need is attention. Mommy and daddy didnt pay enough attention to these kids and now we have to show them attention.
Any comments, questions, etc?

They don't have any hearing left because of their loud music! LOL All kidding aside though, I usually just play my music louder when that kind of thing happens or I roll up my windows. I mean, it's kind of up there with free speech, you can't expect everyone to have good manners and not blast their music,ya know? I just take it with a grain of salt and it honestly doesn't really bother me. But it's youth today and some adults, they just listen to overly loud music and what can you really do about it?

Calm down? I hear the so-called music blasting in the middle of the night. My windows rattle. It's called Disturbing The Peace and it is very annoying. I used to go to lots of rock concerts (even Woodstock!) but I didn't blast my radio so loudly that it disturbed people in their own homes. Regarding "showing off to their peers" some kids do that with knives and guns too. Do you think we should also tolerate them because they're only trying to look cool?
Still, I wish loud music was my biggest problem in life.

I cant believe your comparing knives & guns to loud music. Now if its blared in the middle of the night, that I assume would go against a noise ordinance. There are time limits in most areas. My son is 19 and has an amp in his vehicle. Doesnt bother me one bit. If its a moving vehicle, it too shall pass. I have to say when Im in the mood & a great song somes on, I do blare my tunes, and Im going on 50. Now if your neighbor does the same, that is disrespectful. Id rather hear a stereo going by then a consistent barking dog.

But not everyone else wants to "feel" your music! Some kids have absolutely NO respect for anyone around them! They think that they are the most important person to ever walk the earth and everyone should bow to them. I live in a city of 500,000 on a quiet street. There have been times that I've actually stopped cars coming down my street and gotten into arguments about the music being too loud. You want it loud? KEEP THE WINDOWS SHUT! I don't want to hear your crap!!!
