Default Good gated communties to rent in Estero

Hi,
I am looking for rentals in the estero area. I prefer 2bdr gated communities and a six month lease. I dont like two floors and would like an open floor plan. I heard of rapallo and see many for rent in that community in craig list..however what model would have an open floor plan and how is that community. Is there any other communitys in estero that would be good for familys.

Rapallo is a very nice, new gated community. Right next to the Coconut Point mall with lots to do and eat. Big movie theatre also. Ideal location! kinda tight with lots of townhouses though.

for families you can't beat gated Paseo, a couple of exits north, closer to Daniels/Trail malls and restaurants.

Paseo Ft. Myers

Try looking at Bella Terra in Estero. Go to www.lennar.com, then Fl, then Estero, then Bella Terra. Best community family, gated etc.

Interesting! I just got an email with some new listings in Bella Terra. I'm too far away at this time to look at them. Great prices.

Have you heard anything negative about this community, i.e., Chinese Drywall? (hope I'm not going off-topic...just thought you might know something about Bella Terra)

To my recollection, having followed the news on this since it's been reported about, Bella Terra was the FIRST community to out itself with this stuff to the press. I beleive it also was the first area Lennar started doing their "remediation" work in for anyone who signed the work release contract. Only a one year warranty.

Residents of Estero community meet to discuss Chinese drywall : lee county : Marco News

NBC2 Investigators - Chinese drywall health effects unknown

Be Careful.

Thanks so much for your post, Homestager.

RelocateNJ, you are asking for 2 bedrooms, but only on one floor, if I'm reading your post correctly. So that eliminates townhouses. To me that means a condo or a villa. Most single family houses are 3 or 4 bedrooms. Paseo is very pretty, but you'll find mostly townhouses available there.

Although the homes are a little older, why hasn't anyone mentioned the Villages of Country Creek or Stoneybrook? Just curious.

You are going to find that the 6 month rentals won't be available soon because we'll be getting into "season" by the end of the year.

Note: just went back to look at the OP and it was posted in May. Maybe he's already here!

I would disregard Mosss' suggestions. The reason that the link did not work for him is because your links aren't enabled until your third post. You cannot recommend ANYTHING until after your tenth post and he has a classified ad for a rental in Estero.

And he's trying to rent out a place that is known to have Chinese drywall, on top of everything else.

In other words, there is an agenda.

Just a warning for people.
