Default relocating from MIAMI FL to SW FL

hi all

ive been reading many many many threads about sw fl such as ft myers , cape coral , lehigh acers , naples , and more.......

now my quastion is simple , i am 27 married with 3 kids 6,8,10 i am looking to rent a house in around $1000-$1200 a month.

i alraedy understood that lehigh acers as much as it cheap there NOT TO GO because of all the crime issue . am i right ?

naples is not for kids , so what left me with ft myers or cape coral .

what about punto gorda ? i am raelly not picky as where to move , even uper north if you know of places that really not expensive and good to raise a family.

i will also will look for a job in the area we moving to, i am not comming with a ready to go job so it's another factor.

i would like to know a little bit about the good areas to move to even if it's not cape coral or ft myers...... and if it's in cape coral/ft myers which area do i need to look in ?

i need a 4/2 minimum

also schools are a huge deal for me , my kids going to A+ school now and we happy with the level of the school and whould like to keep this that way.

if there is any realtor around this area i would be happy to talk to you on the phone.

again thanks for who ever help

ABSOLUITELY! I Would recommend staying away from Lehigh at all costs!

Naples is very expensive IMHO, so I wouldn't look there either. We moved from Coral Springs (Ft Lauderdale) to Ft Myers about 7 years ago. we now live in Cape Coral and think it's a great community. very family oriented too. And becuase of the forclosure situation, there are some great deals both is home sales and rentals. You'll have no problem finding a nice home at that price range.

Here's my rental agent I used in the past, a rellay nice guy that will do everything to help you find the right home for you Tommy Lee @ 239 549-9922 ( I am not an agent or make any money from this referral!)

I really like cape coral but I've got to echo what a lot of other posters say "if you don't have a job lined up don't move" moving is expensive and unless you have some form of income in doesn't matter how inexpensive it is to rent.

Yup. And you say that you want an A+ school and want to speak to a realtor. A realtor will tell you all the schools are great. You really need to find a job first, anywhere in Florida, and then research the area schools. That's where you START.

I second this. I am a Realtor on Pine Island and I WOULD REFER CLIENTS LOOKING TO BUY IN THE CAPE TO HIM.
