Default Cape Coral is a great, safe community!

I have lived in Cape Coral for over 10 years and have 2 children. My family and I feel pretty safe within the city as a whole. I am a home inspector, so I travel throughout Ft. Myers and the surrounding cities on a regular basis. It has been my experience that Fort Myers offers several nice areas, but you can never escape crime ( look at the Gatlinburg example in the news recently.) Hope this helps :-)

Gatlinburg in the news for what? The stripper that had a liaison with a customer until the pizza guy came and she cried rape? She made it all up and apparently she's done it before. She's from Georgia. That's why it's in the national news.

Nice try.
