miniature is on a distinguished road
From what I know of Cape Coral and have seen of it when we were looking for a place to buy, it is not somewhere I want to live. However I hope you do well there and can enjoy the weather.

Yes. In many cases, the people who rent part-time end up staying. At first people complain about the hot & humid summer weather, but then they go back up north and realize it's just as miserable there .... and there's no beach!

Tell me about it. Our air conditioner and a computer monitor blew up because of Katrina! (It was only a passing thunderstorm, but she caused it!) When I finally got a borrowed monitor up and running I checked the radar and said, "Wow! That's the perfect storm!" At the time, she was in The Gulf, heading for NOLA.
