I work and will be living off Metro at the end by Colonial, and the more you go north on Metro the worse off you are. I do not leave my apartment at night unless I get an emergency call. My property is patrolled all night, it's safe(ish), but you never can trust too much. You are not going to see me biking anywhere around here....

Yeah. Riding around Edison Mall can't be any picnic, either, I can imagine. Some of these people have no idea about some of these areas.

Especially when you have a camcorder and a "shiny" bike. I'm surprised someone didn't "relieve" the OP of his property.

Chris, If you dont have a CCW yet, I'd look into one. Not that tough to get. I never leave home without mine these days.

Hell, I dont even stick my head out the back door without my carry anymore. And I'm still at CC Pkwy and Skyline area.

I wasn't home. They took my husband's pack of cigarettes while he slept. They were only inches from his head.

And they had a knife.......Very fortunate he did not wake up

How is it going? What is a CCW? I'm a little slow.... LOL.

As of right now I live right off Pelican up by Gleason, a street over from Pelican Elementary.
