Default Naples

Can you give me feedback about Naples FL - I've heard good things. I am relocating from Cleveland. What area would be best for a single woman of 54 with a dog looking to rent until my house sells?

what will / do you do? Rent may be 1000 a month here. Depends on your work skills, we are a service industry area, there is no industry. If you are a teacher, cop or waitress you will do fine here.

Most areas of Naples are pretty safe, do you prefer rural or urban setting? house? condo, villa (duplex)?
Size of your dog might be a problem, most condos have size limits favoring small pets.
PP's are right, need more info. What do you like to do? How close do you need to be to City? Shopping? Church?

If you are a woman of leisure, set yourself up not too far from lovers key dog beach off of Bonita which is a friendly place you can meet dog people.

YouTube - Bonita Springs Dog Beach

also consider volunteering at dog daycares as way to meet people and keep busy

You could also rent on FM island, which is a short drive. If you are not right at the pier, which would be noisy, you may enjoy walks on the beach and the streetlife.

I always tell people to check out my neighbourhood, which is kinda unique but has a lot of dogs and single gals of all ages.

Paseo Ft. Myers

townhouses go for around 1000 per month.

I started to answer, but then I remembered seeing this similar thread. Additional information about the type of housing you desire and your budget would really help others direct you to the area best suited to your needs. Good luck!
