This is a good thing! At least Cape Coral isn't hiding the crime like some cities do. They want their public to be aware of their surroundings and that is what they should do. I believe that this is a plus for Cape Coral.

Interesting! My area is blank, just the way I like it.

hik, how do you find these things? Great map. Does this dispell some myths of all the crime supposedly happening in the north sections? I'd rep you again but it says I have to spread around

It was weird. I tripped across another map and then found this one. It has bothered me because someone was throwing up a Fort Myers crime map and saying, essentially, "See, there is no cime past this certain point." Well, there is, except that Lee County doesn't want to show it.

What I really want to find is the Lee County crime.

And yes, I find it interesting that the north area is where there is little crime. The only family I have left in Cape Coral is in the northeast and northwest sections. They say it is quiet and this confirms it.

What an awful story... Unfortunately this guy fills the typical hatian sterotype, which is why nobody wants them in their backyard. Central FL is filled with these people as the spillover from Miami... Hopefully this man is brought to justice in America!

If that is the crime in Cape Coral I'm relieved, since I'm moving there. I imagine most of the assaults are drunken fights or people who know each other.
