To live right near Sanibel or Estero/Bonita area?
Better, in your opeinion, to live near Sanibel, like the Iona area or near that Publix on Summerlin right by Sanibel, or Estero/Bonita Springs?

Well... if I had a job on Sanibel, the Iona area would be perfect. If I worked in Naples it wouldn't. You haven't provided enough info to get a helpful answer.
EDIT: I've looked back at some of your Sarasota forum posts. You don't really provide too much info in them either. Are you trying to compare how safe these areas are?

Oh sorry.
I love fishing and thats the yonly rason id like to live near Sanibel for easy access to PIS. Then again, Estero/BS is in the middle of everything and great shopping/stores. I guess i have to figure this one out on my own haha. Just wondering what you would choose, i guess. Just looking for any helpful info

Sorry, but I'd like to know what PIS stands for. Thanks. Maybe my brain isn't registering it, but it stands for .....
Sanibel costs $6 by bridge if you're talking about getting onto the island. Most of the beaches charge to park unless you have a parking sticker. I love Sanibel, but I'd vote for Bonita or Estero. Lots of fishing near Lover's Key and Wiggins Pass.

Thanks. I couldn't figure it out. In that case, wouldn't the best spot be Matlacha? Guess it depends on how far out someone wants to live and his priorities.

thanks for the responses guys, and yes, PIS stands for Pine Island Sound. I think I'll settle on Estero/BS--its not too far from PIS. thanks again.

I like Bonita...close to beach and there is FREE BEACH PARKING here.....close to the beach, easy interstate access, close to Naples and Ft Myers. Great shopping at Coconut Point. Can join
the rec. center for under $75.00 and it is next to our library.
