hide the unit behind a shrub?

Yes, you can. What Neil is saying is that 'Criminals', like water, follow the path of least resistance. The harder you make it for 'them' to get 'your' stuff, the more likely they are to move on next door for easier 'pickins'.

Example of a 'Tamper Proof' Bolt that could be used to mount the AC Unit.

are tamper proof bolts a pretty good solution?

seems to me a business model might be going around upgrading the bolts for people door to door

could you just use screw heads and drill out the head thread or put metal glue in it?

would be a pain to get off if you needed to

Been in the Naples area for 30 years. Never in a million would I consider an investment in Lehigh. Lots of transient rentals. I would not think you will get a profit and it will be hard to unload. A better investment would be near Estero near FGCU campus which is rapidly growing or near Ava Maria University.

Haha This thread is 3 years old. I guess it is not easy to sell real estate in L.A.

It's been a few years since the last post. How much are 1/4 acre lots worth nowadays?

It is amazing how much land is for sale out there. Looks to be around 5-6 grand for a half acre.

I would be say no. You cannot depreciate land but you still have to pay taxes. Taxes will be more the value of the land in 10 years alone so you will lose your investment. There are vacant lots in Cape Coral
and people will buy there first. There is a reason they are selling the lots so cheap.

I have held on to a quarter acre lot in Lehigh since 1969. At one time was offered $80k. Not worth anything near that now. Finally time to let it go. Looking into options.

Yes it is. That's the armpit of swfl. Let it go unless you're young enough to wait out decades until it might get better. It might not though.
