Anyone Know Anything About Alva Fl.. We Are Looking Into Cascades At Riverhall... We Are A Little Concerned About The Rate Of Building And Don't Know The Area ... We Live In Nh..i Want The Heat..need To For Health Reasons.l

Its on the far eastern side of Lee County. Its a nice area, but if you are moving there in an attempt to "get away from it all" be carefull because all the growth from Ft. Myers is starting to spread out there and it won't be laid back for long. If you don't mind the growth its very noce and you don't have to worry about storm surge from hurricanes which is always a plus.

Alva has alot of land on the river but is inland. It has a manmade beach at the locks. I think it will be the next naples. Down town alva will have store front condo's and ... Oh wait thats the dream of Cape Coral. Alva is still very much country,

One road town. We pass through on the way to Palm Beach County taking SR80. Lots of environmental print signs in Spanish. The draw is the location on the Caloosahatchee. I would say continue looking!

Any one actually from alva read this board? Am recently exiled from there and am curious about my home town.
