Well this new info just doesn't make me feel better. I know that we aren't being told the whole story but it is getting scarier and scarier each day.

I am glad you voted, that is what is important. In MY current location people are changing their views on Obama.

Now back to the importance of the GOM disaster.

Donna-501 Well this new info just doesn't make me feel better. I know that we aren't being told the whole story but it is getting scarier and scarier each day.

I like to use information to formulate a plan. It is not about having everything work out perfectly but knowing what can be done if a situation occurs. Most people do not think clearly under duress.

I really hesitated posting that info because it is not validated, and I tried to make that clear. There are truths that start out as whispers, they are initially denied and end up being truthful. It was a quarter toss on posting it.

I personally try to think of all possibilities when making an assessment. I do not like to leave any stone unturned. I manage my life like a business, always thinking ahead and have a plan.

FWIW, from SW Florida, the highest ground available, in the shortest time possible is Lake Placid, just NW of Lake Okeechobee. About 70-80 ft above sea level..................SR 80 into LaBelle, north on 29 thru Venus to Lake Placid. Bet on some heavy traffic, however. Anyone got other ideas?

Just curious, whom do you consider to be a reliable source? Obumble's propaganda by omission wing known as the MSM?

I tend to trust my own eyes, and gut feeling more and more. They both tell me we arent being told everything about this. Of course we are rarely told everything about almost anything. Sadly when I see the wall of water coming at me at 400-600 miles per hour it may be too late to do anything about it other than say OH SH-------! I dont expect the worst case, but it's good to know what the potentials are.

By the way, as an example of "propaganda by omission". Did you know that the 80th bank has failed this calandar year last Friday? And at the same time last year 40 had failed. Hear anything about that on the MSM? They convienently neglect to tell you certain things, while telling you the recovery is going well. They didnt lie to you, they just didnt give you all the info. See how that works?

I'm certain much is being published that could be construed as over the top misinformation regarding this spill. Just as there is much that is NOT being said to keep us calm. But there is certain scientific reality that is not suspended just because someone decided not to mention it. The information is presented, you can do your own further research to confirm or refute the scenario made by any particular post. If you feel the information is incorrect, tell us why, and educate us with a link instead of a passing dismissal of it citing guilt by association.

YC.......
