So are the neighborhoods of Villa Francisco, Franklin park, Broadway Circle, and due to it's improvement from several years ago, yes, even Pine Manor.
And Bardens subdivision - in fact, that entire area as described - is the hood. Is it the southside of Chicago? No. But I don't think people want to move to swFlorida to get a couple of levels better than the southside of Chicago.

And to lend some crediblity, my husband grew up in Cicero and Berwyn (not the Southside but his father grew up there, and he certainly knows about it) until he was 12, then moved to Pine Manor before finally moving to San Carlos Park. Me, I use to live in Bardens subdivision, as well as briefly living in Pine Manor. I lived there because I had to and he lived there because he had to, and not while we had a child. Those are not places that people purposely move to when looking for paradise.

I have no idea what kind of game is being played here, but a word to the wise. There are plenty of nice places to chose from, most very affordable. Perhaps this is some young person's idea of "fun." Getting a hobby that elevates other people or the community is highly advised.

I doubt too much credibility will be lent to someone who puts goon in their screen name.

There has been a lot of this going on on CD lately, fools posting the worst parts of the area, as the best places to look into or invest in. HOPEFULLY, people from outside our area come see these wonderful areas, and don't buy from out of state without looking at these places... CD has to find a way to stop 12 year olds from posting on here, this site is serious, not for entertainment(though sometimes it can be).

Described are the most crime ridden areas. Like in another thread about taking a glorious bike ride through these areas, and at night for that matter.... Unbelievable.....

Chris, I'm on it. I appreciate the accurate posts here that should be helpful to newcomers.

While everyone is entitles to their own opinion, they are not entitled to their own facts.

I do not want to see someone thinking this forum is full of mis-information, or like was said, buy sight unseen from these questionable posts.

You should notice there have been some changes here recently.......

Frank

Anyone notice something different?

The load lightened?

Less cut and paste jobs?

Less red words?

Less certain someones talking to themselves over and over again, rarely directly responding to other posts?

Anyone? Anyone?

Bueller? Bueller?

Not true...we still have a few posters who need a lesson on balance and "truth in posting".....

I am not that familiar with the area, so we need folks who are to post and to keep things factual....
