Default Future Move

Hello! We currently live on the Northwest side of Tarrant County. This location is wonderful, but my husband is looking at a job change in the near future (6mons-1yr) that would have him working near the Grand Prairie area. We normally wouldn't move for a job, but we'd also like to be a little more "centrally located" in the DFW area because job changes do come often in his line of work. Is there a city you would recommend? We are thinking the HEB area...that would at least cut out the 820 parking lot between 35W and North Richland Hills. Our price limit would be 160K and schools very important. Would prefer to stay in Tarrant County and live in a town that has that "small town" or close community feel!
