We are going to be moving this summer to Fort Worth. I really have no clue about the area. We are wanting to move out and get more land, atleast 2 acres. First priority is schools, will have a 8th grader and a 5th grader. Are there any new homes around the aledo area with land. Is all of Aledo a safe area? How about the commute to Carswell, husband will be working there.
thanks for your help

I think this depends on what type of community you're looking for. I can't answer much for the distance to your husband's job or much about Weatherford, but I lived in Mansfield for a while. It is beautiful out there and there are some very wealthy neighborhoods, but its pretty far away from a lot of things. And in the part of Mansfield that I lived, it took me 20 min to get to the nearest grocery store which was very annoying. Of course, that is not the case everywhere in Mansfield. I never noticed any problems with air quality either.
Hope this helps!
