DFW Intl Airport Terminal has a RAILHEAD BBQ now????????????????????
No way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is too cool!!

It's probably better than fast food IMO.

D Terminal has (to name a few)-
Bennigan's
Blue Mesa
Cantina Lerado
Champps Bar & Grill
Cool River Cafe
Cousin's BBQ
Jazzman's Cafe
Railhead BBQ
Reata Grill
TGI Friday's
Tigin Irish Pub & Restaurant

I had a late flight come in on Monday night and ate at Blue Mesa. It was ok.

Note: All resturants and Bars in the airport close around 10:00pm. Your flight is scheduled to arrive at 9:30 but if there is a significant delay this option will be closed to you. Then it's back to the Fast food option.

Steak N Shake isn't a bad 24/7 place. It's a notch better than your typical fast food resturant. There is one in the Grapevine Mills Mall area. If you came out of the Airport through the north exit that would work pretty good.

IHOP (International House Of Pancakes) is also a pretty good 24/7 option. Yes, breakfast is their specialty but they also have other pretty good things to eat. Sandwiches and the like. There is one of those on 183 leaving the Airport through the south route. It's a much shorter distance from the airport to Fort Worth if you take the south route.

minniemouse. you must eat at the fast food drive-in SONIC at least once during your visit in Texas..you will find them ALL over Texas, even in small towns. they are drive-ins, with waitresses who wear roller skates and skate up to your car to deliver your food. make sure you order a cherry limeade, my favorite drink! here is the website so you can look at the menu! it is a Texas tradition!

SONIC — America's Drive-In!

it's very great!
I have a question..
Drive in, in America, isn't it a open movie and eat by car?

I'm confuse...

I have seen the menu and..uhm..I'm hungry

Sonic is a drive-in fast food restaurant. There are also drive-in movie theaters. The only thing in common between these two "drive-ins" is that a car is involved.

Keep on counting down the days ... Aug. will be here before you know it! Speaking of which, I'm looking forward to my vacation in NJ!

beowulf7, you'll just have to start your own countdown.
This thread with Minniemouse has been nice...seeing her excitement and as the days have gone by chatting with her about places to eat and things to do while she is here in FW. So see, on your thread you can talk about NJ and people who have been there or are from there can chime in and talk about similiar things. Then the next thing you know, it's time for your trip
