I've got you beat. I've been all the way to Weatherford...but I've been here about 5 years.

Man I'm envious. I've gone up through OK (by car) and "all the way" down to Austin (by train). But I plan to hit San Antonio in Sept., which will be a record south for me in TX.

Hopefully, in the next year or so, I'll eventually check out the tourist traps of Padre Island and Big Bend.

I hear Weatherford has really started building up in the past year. I guess it's all relative.

I don't think she's back yet in Italy yet. They have a couple more days, I believe.

Hi guys, I'm back!

I returned in Italy yesterday morning...
TEXAS IS FANTASTIC!

The most beautiful city, for me, were: F.W, San Antonio, Amarillo, Austin!

I have made 4000 miles but...I have been very happy to have seen much places!

When I can, I send you some pictures

I'm singing "Deep in the heart of Texas"!!!

The weather was very beautiful. Only the last day (1/2 day in Austin rained) but for the all days... GREAT! Very humidity, hot but..beautiful!

I have had a great (but difficult) ride horse tour in Palo duro Canyon (1st time on horse), Mesquite RODEO, the Texas Musical Drama, the baseball game, seaworld is wonderful....

as soon as I post a full report

You live in a great State!

^ Hey minniemouse, welcome back to the FW sub-forum. Glad you and your party had a great time in TX. Wow, they've got you singing "Deep in the heart of Texas!" already? After 15 mos. of living here, I still haven't done that (yet?). Hopefully, jet-lag wasn't too bad in either direction.
