Have you tried rebooting all your modems / cable boxes, even the big one ? I have to with my Uverse on occassion. Unplug all the boxes, wait 30 seconds and plug back in.

Then I call ATT, who responds pretty quickly. I sure wish I had Verizon FIOS in my area.

I don't have either one in my neighborhood, and my satellite dish got out of whack last night with all the wind. I'm without TV, and DirecTV can't send anybody out until Thurs. I just got the call that I have another snow day tomorrow, and I'm going to lose my mind! I might have to resort to cleaning out closets! LOL!

or cooking--if you made trip to the grocery--or doing your taxes...

we aren't having the re-boot trouble with the TV in the bedroom--have not been up to watch the one in the game room--just the main TV in the LA--where the main brain is

I could get Netflix on-line w/o a problem and yet could not get AMC channel to finish watching The Kingdom where Jennifer Garner and Jason Bateman (such a dweeb most of the time) kick the crap out of that Saudi terrorist creep

well rebooting tonight when my husband wanted to watch TV did not help--finally went online with Uverse tech support--and the unit if fried apparently--
seeing a red X with two dots underneath it must mean RIP for Uverse boxes
only problem is the tech can replace it until Thursday after lunch --

we have an extra STB (set top box) that the tech said we can switch out but just can't get the DVR/record/replay feature

For once, amazingly, we did not have problems with our UVerse. If you're thinking about getting UVerse, don't. I understand it's come a long way from where it was when it was first rolled out, but it's still a mediocre product.

Uverse has been much better than what we had with time warner in bedford--and frankly the people I have had to talk to when we have had problems have been patient and helpful--
the main problem is that it is expensive--and maybe we would wrangle our price down based on what some people have posted when they have called to cancel but my husband does not like to do that...
