I'm part of a UK tv production team who are coming to the US to shoot a travel show aimed at 18-30 year olds. We want to show what great things this country has to offer and looking for interesting, fun, quirky things to do in Fort Worth. Can anyone give me tips/advice? And can you suggest cheap places to stay. Are there any campsites in the area for the guys to part up their camper van?

I do not know about the camper van parking, but anyone who visits Fort Worth has to go to the Stock Yards it is where they use to run cattle thru the town in the "cowboy" days, and it is the reason the nickname of the town is Cowtown....Also the cattleman's museum, the Kimball museum and a great cafe with live music called Fred's Cafe near the museum district, BUrger's lake if they like to swim and you are coming near the summer time is a great man made swimming hole that has been around for 50 years or so, there is also an outdoor theatre called Hip-Pocket that young people love, and the newly renavated water gardens near downtown. There are several chain motels that are reasonable, ie motel 6, days in and la quinta.....
