Both my husband and I have had horrible teeth our
entire adult life.

After years of costly root canals, partials, bridges, etc.,
we are both ready to have our remaining teeth pulled out
and get dentures.
I never thought Id 'want' dentures, esp. in my late 40's.

That is our number one on our list, after we get relocated
to FM.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a dentist in
FM?

When I was ready to post this, I was very hesitant, wondering
what people would think.
Now I have an idea as to why, I think the word 'dentures' scares everyone away!

I would love to have 'good teeth', but it just wasnt in the genes
for hubby or I, and we cannot afford implants.

Will also need a child's dentist, if anyone has a recommendation for a child's dentist
as well.

TIA

Hubby and I go to Dr Marye with Smiles of Texas. He is located in Bartonville which is a 15 minute drive from our home in FM. He came recommended to us and he is awesome. His entire staff is great. Dr Marye never makes me feel rushed and goes over options completely and makes sure I am comfortable. He does not do unnecessary work either.

We take our two children (10 and 5) to Dental Care 4 Kids on 1171 in FM. We have been pleased so far with them. It is a husband and wife team.

Both dentists I have mentiond do not contract with insurance companies but will file the insurance for you and you just owe the difference. I never feel what I owe is outrageous. Dr Marye is a little pricey compared to other dentists I have been to but he is totally worth it. Hubby has perfect teeth so he only has cleanings and X-rays and he never owes anything. We have yet to owe anything at Dental Care 4 Kids.
