I would not want to commute from Grapevine to Everman every day.

Honestly, you might look at Mansfield. That will be a lot closer to his work. Aledo, unfortuantely, will probably be out of your price range.

There are many good reasons why their population is shrinking...

Richland Hills would not be a good choice but I think Hurst and Bedford might have some nice options in that price range if person is willing to go with older home
