Has anyone had any dealing with a builder named DeBoer? We are looking at some land and building a home on in Newark Ranch, in Haslet. Any help would be great. This is would be our first build. Any advice and/or suggestions are appreciated. JR

Hiya...sorry I haven't heard of DeBoer, but we are going to be building in Vista Ranch with Texas Integrity. There are some nice pieces of land in Newark.

Yes you are correct, there are some nice lots out there. We havent seen what texas integrity has to offer. We want to stay under $225k if possible, since it is our first build. Thanks though.

Make sure you look at Avondale Developers website. I know for looking at Vista Ranch, they were very specific on the CC&Rs that house sizes had to be over a certain amount (in Vista its 1800 sqft +), no privacy fences (just iron or split rail).

Are you talking 225K plus the lot? I would make sure you ask for references. There are quite a few smaller builders in the area. Good luck in your build. We have been in the process (our first) and it has been a little more rocky than we would have liked . We had our first builder pull out due to conflicts.

Default DeBoer

I have tried to find them on the net and can only find where their office is located. I am not sure but Texas Integrity might be a little pricey for us. Do they have a website?

They don't have one but they have their model on Edgemon right or will be. They just sold their model on Malone in Newark Ranch. It is the one in between Parkside and Sterling. They start out about 365K and go up from there.

We're in the process of building with them right now, or should I say, trying to build with them. Its a father and son team who build less than 12 homes a year. They're currently sitting on some inventory which is causing difficulties in obtaining additional financing to begin our construction. I'm exploring my options to fund the construction process to get going. Given the current rise in interest rates, this may not be a bad option as at the end of the build, I can take the current (todays) interest rate, or if its lower, the then current rate. Honestly, this does cause me some concern, but I believe they can and will build a good, high quality, custom home for my family. Are you building on Edgemon? If so, we'll be neighbors.

Default Which builder???

Are you having DeBoer do your build or one of the other builders from above? We were looking at a new subdivision in Haslet, but we have put things on the back burner for now.
