Naima,

Where did you get his information? Are you a realtor? I personally don't understand anti-nondisclosure. I am from NC and everyone can look it up online at the county website.

Here are some numbers that may help you:
There are 372 homes on the market in Southlake as of today, of which 93 are under contract. Also, there have been 382 homes sold in the last year. These numbers include single family, duplexes and townhomes.

There are 348 homes on the market in Colleyville as of today, of which 53 are under contract. Also, there have been 320 homes sold in the last year. These numbers include single family, duplexes and townhomes.

Yes I am a Realtor and I have access to that information from the MLS (Multiple Listing Service). There are several states that are non-disclosure and TX is one of them.

Just bid real low, get a deal so you do not feel used in the end...............The less $$$ you spend the better you will feel about the home for sure!

Okay, but when it comes to buy a home, does a realtor do comps in the area, and share that with the potential buyer, so the buyer has an idea of what the homes are worth in the area?

Or is it just a guessing game?

Im confused.

Yes of course, that's the crucial role of your Realtor, if they are a buyer's agent. There is more information that we can access, such as what the owner owes etc. making your position much stronger.

That is exactly what I was trying to say.

I don't think it's my family or friends business, to know
how much, or how, we paid for this house.

Our finances are just that, our finances!
Since we did some creative financing, the 'sale price' is actually
a bit misleading.

We did an agreement of sale, and I dont really like having
to explain what that is, to people. Most people have no clue
what an agreement of sale is.

Yes a buyers agent will find you the comps, tell you waht they listed for and what they sold for. They can also tell you what your seller bought thier house for as well.
Without a RE agent then you are playing a guessing game.
