Default Burleson, A good place for families????

I am interested in finding out about Burleson. There is a new home community called Plantation that I am particulary interested in by Sheridan Homes. Does anyone know anything about that particular builder and/or Burleson?I am a mother of 2 ages 8 and 4 coming from the New England area. I am almost finished nursing school and would like to leave in a family oriented community with good schools but close enough to my family in Crowley.

Please offer anything that is helpful about this area.

Thanks!!!

We just moved to Burleson this summer and we love it here. I don't know anything about Plantation but we did look at some homes off Hidden Creek and it was pretty nice back there. Lots of new communities. The schools in Burleson tend to be pretty good too.
Let me know if you have more specific questions and I will try to answer them

Thanks for your response. I actually do have a few direct questions.

What do you love about Burleson and what are some of your dislikes?
What do the childen like/dislike?
How is the traffic in the morning?
How long does it take you to get to Downtown Fort Worth?

Anything thing else important that you can think of please let me know.

I dont know about the traffic- I stay at home and my DH drives toward Glen Rose in the am, not Ft. Worth.
I would think it would take about 25 minutes to get downtown.
The kids have mostly been in our neighborhood playing but they have enjoyed splash station and the the library is great too. There are some nice parks around- one right across from the library has a nice playground as well as lots of tennis courts. The ONLY thing my son has complained about not liking here is that there is no ocean....

Default nurse/motherof2 - still moving to Burleson?

I grew up in Burleson (since 1980) and now am raising my family here. I'd be happy to answer your questions, if you're still considering moving here.
