One more thing, people like momo2fdw that say they lived here all their lives and say they never had a bug problem, obviously don't know that there are places with no bug problems and and are just used to living with them.

Darlin, I've been around the world and all over this country. I know there are places w/ less "bug problems" than here in my WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL home state of Texas. Compared to all of those places, I'll take the bugs. At least I CAN do something about the bugs and do not have to "live with them". Can't do much about the problems that are in the places w/ a smaller bug population. If ya happen to find an exterminator that gets rid of people that are miserable and try to make everyone else around them so, then that would be GREAT! If you find an exterminator that can get rid of the people that are not happy no matter where they live and only can see the negatives, that would be even better.

The beautiful weather ,no humidity, and no bugs. Sure in California you may have a fly or nat or black ant on occasion but it is nothing to compare what Texas has. Californians don't know how good they got it. Except for the high price homes but you know the saying "you get what you pay for". Sure it is alot cheaper in Texas but there is a reason. People in Texas especially the Dallas Fort Worth area have the highest obesity rate then anywhere else in America. The reason is the weather and attitude of these people. You do not see people riding bikes, jogging playing sports etc like you do in Colorado, California, and other places and I think the weather and the bugs have alot to do with it. You just can not go outside and enjoy yourself like you can in other parts of the country.
Maybe if you moved out of the mobile home park you would see more people riding bikes and out jogging. I see TONS of people every single day out doing activities. You just live in the wrong part of the world. If your so miserable here in Texas then why on earth are you here? Please. I will also add that I have seen just as many obese people in California as I have in Texas. Stop hanging out at the buffets and you won't see so many obese people. The weather and the bugs do not stop me nor my family from being outside and enjoying everything that there is around us. Right now my windows are open and have been just about every day lately. Sorry we are not California where you can leave them open more often. At least the smog is not killing us when we are outside like it does those poor people in California.
