Hi, we are family of 3 (couple and a 1 year old daughter) relocating from India to Irving in Nov'11. My office is located in Irving and am looking for suggestions on areas to live in. We are looking for a 3 bedroom house/ apartment preferablly in a area close to markets and with Indian community. My wife will be staying at home so would prefer a area where there are indian families and good parks and schools.

What is your monthly budget? Irving has many Indians living all over the city but the highest density will be found in Valley Ranch (zip code 75063) and Las Colinas (zip code 75038).

You will be in excellent company. The Indian community in Valley Ranch is one of the most concetrated in the country.

You should be able to find something nice $1500. Coppell and Grapevine are good options too.

This is the lowest price 3 bedroom house in Valley Ranch right now. But you can probably find lower priced apartment. In Valley Ranch there are 2 school districts. Since you will not be using the public schools, you might get a cheaper rent on a property that uses the Carrollton School District. The main street running north and south in Valley Ranch is Macarthur Blvd. properties on the west side of MacArthur use the Coppell School District (higher rated) and on the east side of MacArthur they use the Carrollton school district. The houses and neighborhoods are equally nice all over Valley Ranch, so if you don't need to use the Coppell schools, you may get a better deal on the east side.

I am including a link to the referenced property to give you a map fix of the area. It is a safe, clean area with a large Indian population.

Thanks, I don't mind paying extra as long as the area is good and would prefer a area with a higher rated school.

Yes if you are going to USE the school...of course you would care about the ratings. If you have an infant and you are RENTING, all of Valley Ranch is EQUALLY NICE.....so rent what you like if you live there and don't worry about the schools.
