Default 92.1 HANK FM - Fort Worth

KTFW 92.1 in Sundance Square has fired their on-air staff and will become HANK FM today "HANK FM Plays Everything Country". Sort of like JACK FM but country... http://www.921hankfm.com/

Wasn't 92.1 already a country station?

I used to like what it was a few years ago before I moved to Dallas. I can't even pick up the signal anymore, though, so I guess it doesn't make a huge difference to me either way.

It was a fantastic station when it started as 92.1 (except for the weak signal) but just like a dog..as soon as I started bragging on it, it went downhill with it's format of music and has now gotten worse!

You say you play everything country but you do not. For your information the old classic country songs from the 50s - 60s are still considered country. And there are still many of us around who appreciate this type music even though the artists, for the most part, have passed on. I'm speaking of Marty Robbins, Webb Pearce, Ernest Tubb, Roy Acuff et al. These artists were the real beginning and the reason for the astronomical rise of the popularity of country music. I have requested many times that you, at least occasionally, throw in one or two of these classics but the requests are never granted.

So, don't advertise that you play everything country when you most certainly DO NOT!
