Does anyone know of a place that will sharpen knives? I have about 15 culinary knives that need to be done. I used to go to a place in the Plano area but I am now about an hour sw of FW so it is not really feasible for me to drive to Plano. I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for the FW area. Thanks!

I have driven by but never stopped by this place.
Not sure if they do knives.

My second choice would be on 820 past 199( south side, across the freeway from best buy shopping center) at the Knive store. They have the big knive rotating sign.
Same thing; I have only driven by but never have stopped there.
I cannot confirm if they actually sharpen knives.

House of Blades

Third: There is a Knive store in Grapevine Mills Mall on the westside entrance by the hockey rink.
I have visited there but not sure if they sharpen knives though.

Hopefully one of these places can help you or get you to the right place.

Note: I did a google search after entering my information and found several locations in fort worth and bedford.
Do a google search on: Knive sharpener in Fort worth.

I did a google search myself and I remember seeing House of Blades, which is pretty much the closest to me and I was hoping to stay in the west side of FW, or at least the FW area. But, it seems to be slim pickings. I am funny about who takes care of my knives and wanted to see if anyone had someone they would recommend. One of my issues is, is that living in the Metroplex, it was easy to drop off and pick up next day, etc. Now being further away, it is more difficult. Thanks for the info, I appreciate it much.

call a good restaurant that is in area that you use or one in FTW like Bonnell's or Tim Love's
ask who sharpens their chefs' knives
even if they sharpen each day personally usually they also have them sharpened en masse at times I think
maybe they can give suggestion

If you can find a vacuum repair place near you - they sharpen knives.
