Hey, has anyone checked the weather forecast for Tuesday of next week? A high of 82 and a low of SIXTY-THREE! Whoopee! Sorry, I just love it when we get these sneak previews of Fall..

I was here for a week in November last year and then again back in January permanently. Is there a lot of Autumn color here? I don't remember seeing really anything last year, but it could have been that I wasn't paying attention either

There wasn't a lot of Autumn color last year because of the drought. With all of the rain this year I suspect we'll have a nice looking Fall.

Seeing that "63" made me jump for joy! We have been here for 4 yrs, and during that time I haven't noticed alot of fall color. Having grown up in Eastern Ohio where it is very hilly and the fall color is spectacular, the falls here have been pretty disappointing, if you are looking for color. Maybe it's all in what you are accustomed to. My husband and I plan to go back there in October just for the color. But one very Positive Thing about North Texas fall/winter is that we have all these beautiful vividly-colored winter Pansies to brighten our landscapes.

I hope we don't have anymore 100 deg. days.
![]() Speaking of which, I think DFW registered 40 100-deg. days last year. What's the official count so far this year? I'm guessing 4-5. ![]() |

does not need to go over 100 to be hot, hot, hot---has been so humid this summer from the rain which made the heat index pretty bad

That's true - the humidity has reminded me of when I lived in NJ.

The humidity this year was HORRIBLE. It made it much worse. The only difference is that plants and trees don't burn up with too much humidity - only us humans wilt under the oppressiveness of it.
