Default EatZi's in Grapevine opens today

The first Metroplex location to open outside of Dallas.

EatZi's opening Grapevine location Thursday - Dallas Business Journal

eatZi's Market & Bakery ? Chef-Crafted European Food for the Taking

I would really like to see an eatZi's in Downtown Fort Worth.

Yet another restaurant and more traffic packed into that tiny area surrounded by road construction, just great. I miss the old Grapevine.

I went to Eatzi's last night and it was quite busy. It looks a lot like the original location on Oak Lawn, but a little bigger. It's a HUGE improvement over the former Lubys that occupied the building, which had been vacant for several years. They had a sign in the lobby thanking the mayor and city council members for making the restaurant possible!

The road construction is moving along, and they are ahead of schedule. It will be really nice when everything is finished next year.

Had to run up to the Apple store in Southlake from my house in Irving last night and noticed a full parking lot in front of Eatzi's. Wow, will be so happy when the road construction is completed. Just don't want to even be in the area right now!

ChristieP thanks for the update.

I look forward to going in the next few weeks, hopefully after the buzz calms down.

Meh.. I'd hardly consider EatZi's merely "yet another restaurant". They have very high quality goods and it's a destination type establishment, which fits well with the city's other amenities.

That's so exciting for you Grapevine-ites!! (Grapevinyards??) I hope, hope, hope we get one in FW soon. I'm not nearly as excited about the Trader Joe's as I would be about EatZis.

Congrats!!
