Hi everyone,

My family and I will hopefully be relocating from Phoenix to Ft. Worth soon. We are really excited by this development. I was raised in Dallas so I kind of know what to expect and my parents are still there too. We live in a big masterplanned community here in Phoenix that is like a resort with water slides, several pools, tennis, on and on. I was curious if there are developments like this in Ft Worth and basic things I should watch out for, school districts etc. My parents live in Richardson so ideally, I will reside roughly in between Richardson and Ft. Worth, maybe that's Irving or Las Colinas? Anyway, thanks all as always for input. We are just getting started and nothing is set yet but I feel confident about the opportunity. Thanks!

A lot of people in Keller have memberships to Keller Pointe. That may be close to what you're looking for. Sadly, I found the MPCs lacking on the Fort Worth side of the metroplex. They're building a new one on the West side of Keller called Heritage. Pretty nice, may or may not be what you want.

north FTW has Heritage development--think that has water park for some sections--definitely master planned community

Check out NRHills--not necessarily master planned communities there but good town with some nicer new subdivisions--Birdville ISD for some areas and Keller ISD for some...
the NRH2O water park is city owned and everyone pays but NRHills has good parks system, close to Southlake for dining/shopping and other towns for same...
SE corner of Keller is just off Precinct Line/Davis Rd and has a large master development
there is subdivision pool but no water park (unless it has been added)...

Good point! it is basically right where 820 and I35W intersect. (guessing would be affected by construction )
